Cristina Carion's profile picture

Hi, nice to meet you.

I’m Cristina, a Digital Product Designer based in London and recently in West Sussex.

I have in the past helped people to find the right tariff to light their bulbs, to helping people hike and fundraise for charities. I’m particularly interested in technology and accessibility and driven to work in a self-starter environment where I can make a real impact based on the objectives and outcomes of a project. I am currently re-building the next generation of the Post Office Design System.

Transitioning from a traditional graphic design background to product design felt natural to me. I have always enjoyed how something is built, who can use it, and whether it has reusable capabilities. What gets me excited is creating products that can positively impact people’s lives.

More about me
  • I was born in a little city called Macau, born as Portuguese/Chinese and have ventured out and lived in Portugal, France and now in the UK.
  • I speak 3 languages fluently, English, Cantonese Chinese and Portuguese (and French for a year in France! ). I’d like to learn Mandarin Chinese and Japanese next.
Miscellaneous

I offer my time to mentor designers that I have met through events, meet-ups and colleagues. From designers starting their career to supporting their development. I have recently been invited as a guest lecturer to present to MA Digital Design at De Montfort University in their Accessibility and Service design modules.
